Zine-ophobia, the bookstore from the movie, is a store front in San Pedro. It’s actually now a yoga studio. It was a restaurant in a David Spade movie and next door to one of the store fronts used in Catch Me If You Can. The intersection in front of this store is where John C. Reilly went on a pcp rage in the movie Walk Hard.
I know all of this because I give a filming locations tour in downtown San Pedro.
(I know this is a shot from the sex store)
